HF Briefs: LEED Comment Period; NWFA Changes Program's Name
The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) has pushed back the fourth public comment period for LEED 2012, the next-generation rating system of the popular green building guidelines. The USGBC said the reason for that delay was "to comprehensively address all stakeholder feedback." On its website, USGBC said it will open "later this month" and that it will remain open for the 15 days required by LEED Foundation Documents.
The NWFA has changed the name of its Tech Call Center to "Product Support Center" in an effort to more accurately state what the program does and better fulfill expectations of those who call it.
