Bona’s waterborne finishes have always been VOC-compliant and healthier for people and the environment than most other finishes, Bona says. When using Bona waterborne finishes, there is no need for the homeowner to vacate during the finishing process, it adds. Bona finishes are Greenguard-certified for indoor air quality.

Bostik’s Ultra-Set Single-Step is a one-part, trowel-applied, tacking, moisture-cure urethane adhesive and moisture vapor protection membrane. It’s formulated with patented Thickness-Control Spacer Technology to ensure proper membrane thickness between hardwood flooring and the substrate. The product does not contain water, and it has zero VOCs.

DriTac Flooring Products’s DriTac 7700 Easy Clean is a green hybrid urethane, the company says. It is low in odor, contains no water, is easy to spread, and provides a waterproofing membrane when cured. It can be used for installing bamboo, exotic woods, multi-ply engineered plank, solid wood plank, and more on all grades.

Stauf SMP 960 and 940 are the latest advances in wood flooring adhesive technology, the company says. Both are manufactured using MS Polymer to provide shear strength and reliability. Both products are moisture-cure with no water, isocyanate, solvents or VOCs.

Adhesive #113D is a one-part curing urethane that pours and spreads easily, instead of being a heavy, filler-loaded paste, the company says. The product is VOC-compliant, low-hazard and water-free, weighs only 10 pounds per gallon, fights mold and has a negligible odor, the company says.

UFloor Systems offers Uzin PE 480, a two-component, roller-applied epoxy moisture barrier for the installation of all floor coverings. A water- and solvent-free compound, Uzin PE 480 completely eliminates moisture and vapor transmissions from concrete slab substrates, the company says. The product acts as a restriction-free, damp-proofing barrier against extremely high moisture levels.
