Shamrock Plank Flooring

Nothing enhances a home like Shamrock Plank Flooring.

Appalachian Flooring is exhibiting its full line of prefinished solid, domestic and exotic products, as well as engineered products at Surfaces 2010. The company recently became FSC-certified.

Brazfloor supplies exotic unfinished solid, prefinished solid, and engineered flooring, and decking, too. These products are either 3/4-, 3⁄8-, 1/2-, or 5⁄16-inch thick. Its prefinished solid products come with an aluminum oxide or oil-based finish. The company can accommodate both large and small demand, it says.

Elegance stocks 15 species of solid, engineered and prefinished wood floors. At the NWFA Convention, it is showcasing two collections of 4¾-inch-wide engineered maple. The Victorian Collection is hand-scraped, while Private Vineyard has a smooth finish; both are available in seven colors. The company is also unveiling its redesigned Web site.

HomerWood now offers a collection of Amish Hand-Scraped Flooring for its Character Grade line. The back of the plank can bear the name of the craftsman, and planks can be signed by the craftsman or customized with a family name on the front. The collection is available prefinished and unfinished in four species and 3- to 7-inch widths.

Mirage has added a 6½-inch width to its Sweet Memories series that includes Handcrafted Oak and Aged Maple. Also, the series is now available in lengths up to 6 feet. The boards come with a Cashmere finish.

Nature Flooring offers solid, engineered and laminate flooring. Among its products are FSC-certified hardwood species from around the world.

Model Hardwood Inc. has added the Regina stain to all of its flooring collections. The company says the brown and gold stain evokes wheat fields of Saskatchewan. In fact, the company has dedicated the stain to Canada's wheat growers.

Premiere is showcasing its latest contract finishing asset, Wood Grain Enhanced prefinished flooring. This technology allows its customers to market and sell flooring appearing to be “forest hardwood” while utilizing sustainable plantation timbers with lower species cost. The process is suitable for solid, engineered, and laminate production.

Shamrock is displaying its 3⁄4-inch solid unfinished product line, available 21⁄4 to 8 inches wide, and its prefinished hickory and walnut line, available in 3- to 6-inch widths. The company will also be displaying its unfinished engineered line, available in 3- to 6-inch widths. Shamrock specializes in walnut, hickory, red oak and white oak.

Sheoga’s densest offering is solid, 3/4-inch thick jatoba, or Brazilian cherry. The product features a deep, reddish-brown color. It is available in multiple widths, including 2¼, 3¼, 4¼, or 5¼ inches; wider widths are available upon request. Products can be finished or unfinished.

W.D. is showcasing some of its more than 450 products, including unfinished plank and strip flooring, along with its prefinished Select, Mountain Grade™ and Conservation Grade™. The company is highlighting its new wire-brushed (pictured) prefinished oil/wax/stain products in Conservation Grade™. It says its proprietary grading flips old grading standards to create consumer-based products.
